Challenges Aren't Punishment. They Are Initiations
We don't grow in comfort.
We've been conditioned to believe that ease is the goal. That a smooth life is a blessed life. That struggle means something has gone wrong. But what if the challenges that crack us open are not punishment—but initiation?
They break down the false so the true can rise. They teach us things comfort never could. They don't arrive to harm us; they arrive to reveal us. To ourselves. To our capacity. To the light that was always waiting behind the armour.
I've been writing to you for weeks about the descent. The purging. The feelings we avoided. The old architecture crumbling. The peri-menopause unravelling. The solstice threshold. The young parts in the basement, screaming to be heard. All of it—every single thread—has been leading here.
Challenges aren't punishment. They are the doorway.
A Transmission for the Medicine Woman
As the lunar nodes shift, I feel the call deepening—for the medicine woman to step fully into her light.
This is not a performance. It requires our authentic magnetism: a coherence of heart, mind, and spirit resonating as one harmonious field.
Electromagnetic elegance.
An overflow of our own wholeness.
We are no longer fuelled by the old chemicals—the dopamine spikes, the cortisol crashes, the highs and lows of pain being alchemised. A new timeline is unfolding for the light worker, and its foundation is unshakable peace.
This does not mean we do not feel. We have expanded our capacity to feel—this is the healing we have done. We feel easily now, without resistance. Our intimacy with grief, with fear, allows us to hold them without being swept away. The default mode is peace.
Science mirrors what the mystic knows: the heart emits the strongest electromagnetic field in the body. When we anchor in genuine gratitude, compassion, and awe, we become radiant transmitters. This is the frequency I am feeling.
From here our voices carry the frequency of personal power. We ignite that in each other. We know we are the creators of the reality we are going to experience.
The Cosmic Window
We have no idea what these geometrical cosmic frequencies between are bringing. But as light workers—as women who have walked the descent and risen again—we have a responsibility to meet them with the grace and power that we have spent years, probably lifetimes, mastering.
A'ho.
From Initiation to Integration
This is where we are arriving. After years of consciously bringing light to shadow. After the purging, the feeling, the undoing. The challenges that cracked us open didn't break us—they initiated us. And now we stand at a new threshold. Not bracing for the next storm. Not surviving. But transmitting. Radiating. Creating from coherence instead of chaos.
The medicine woman doesn't bypass the wound. She has walked through it. She carries its wisdom in her bones. And from that place, she doesn't just heal herself—she becomes a beacon for others to find their way.
The Invitation
If you feel yourself standing at this threshold—if the challenges of recent years have cracked you open and you're ready to step into the light that was always waiting—I see you. I am walking beside you. And there is a circle of women here ready to walk with you too.
Join me for the next cosmic theshold of our becoming on August 7th
The Lions Gate Portal: Inanna & The Breaking That Became the Becoming
The Red Tent exists because I wanted a circle I could sit in. A place where women could bring their pain, their questions, their becoming—and be held. Not fixed. Witnessed.
This month, the Red Tent pauses to honour he Lions Gate Portal on 8/8.
And the cosmic basket in the sky right now is not subtle. It is stacked with energy supporting one thing: your radically authentic rise.
The veils are thinning. The heart is opening. The number 8 represents infinity, abundance, and the eternal flow between who you've been and who you're becoming. And the invitation of this portal is not to strive. It's to step into the light already within you. Unapologetically. Without shrinking. Without permission.
The Archetype: Inanna
Inanna is the Sumerian goddess who chose to descend. She walked into the underworld, gate by gate, and at each threshold, something was stripped from her. Her crown. Her robes. Her jewels. Her identity. Until she stood naked before her sister, the dark goddess Ereshkigal, and was hung on a hook. She died there.
But Inanna did not stay dead. She was mourned. She was witnessed. She was called back. And she rose—not despite what she lost, but because of what the descent revealed.
She rose sovereign. She rose knowing. She rose with the understanding that her power was never in what she wore, but in who she became when everything was taken away.
Inanna's gift was earned in the dark. So was yours.
The Theme: The Challenges That Cracked Us Open Into Our Gifts
The Lions Gate is often spoken about as a time of shining, of stepping into the light, of abundance. And it is. But for so many of us, the light we're being asked to shine is not the light of someone who has never known darkness.
It's the light of someone who has been cracked open. Who has lost. Who has grieved. Who has been stripped of old identities. Who has sat in the ashes and wondered if anything would grow again.
The challenges you have faced were not punishments. They were initiations. They cracked you open so more light could enter. They broke down the false so the true could rise. They taught you things comfort never could.
